N.Kiran Kumar Reddy..

Born in 1960, the Chief Minister-designate will be among the youngest to occupy the highest post in the government. An accomplished wicketkeeper-batsman, he played for the Hyderabad team in the Ranji Trophy tournament.  he is represents Pileru Assembly constituency in Chittoor and is a four-time elect to the State Assembly since 1989. He was defeated only once – in 1994. Coming from a family which had been in the forefront of State politics,  Kiran Kumar Reddy was made the Speaker after the Congress returned to power in 2009. He is the son of late N. Amarnath Reddy, who was Minister for Cooperation in Marri Channa Reddy’s Cabinet during 1978-80.

He studied in Hyderabad Public School (HPS), graduated from the Nizam’s College and did his Bachelors in Law. He has one son and a daughter.
