Botsa Satyanarayana, Born in 9 July 1958) also Botcha Satyanarayana is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh, India. He belongs to Indian National Congress.
Early life
He was born at Vizianagaram. His parents are Botsa Guru Naidu and Eswararamma. He has studied at Maharajah’s College and completed Bachelor of Arts.
Political Career
Botsa Satyanarayana is currently Minister for Transport in the government of Andhra Pradesh, and has served previously as Panchayati raj minister, and as Minister for Industries in the Andhra Pradesh government. He presented himself as a contender to succeed Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh after the latter’s death in a 2009 helicopter accident.
Personal life
Botsa Satyanarayana is married to Botsa Jhansi, who was in 2006 elected a Congress party Lok Sabha representative from Bobbili constituency. He was currently working AP PCC PRESIDENT
